Understanding how the chakras work can help you to live in harmony with your body. When your chakras are in balance you can thrive, you feel joyful in each and every cell of your body. Balancing the chakras is for everyone who is aware that we are energy.
When your physical health is weak you can go back to the root cause. Ask yourself what has happened recently that took your energy out of balance. Stressfull situations can cause an energy blockage and finally it can be experienced as disease in the physical body. In Chinese medicine we talk about ‘Qi’, which is what we call in yoga ‘prana’, the life force flowing through our bodies, what keep us alive. When the Qi or prana flows we feel vital and healthy, both physical and mental.
Therefore as you do a workout for the chakras, you take care of your wellness and your body health. In yoga we have specific asanas (exercises) that concern the energy points, the chakras.
From the 15th of October until the 3rd of December Dayal Yoga gives a training where you learn which set of exercises (we call it kriya in the Kundalini yoga tradition) you can do to promote the energy balance in your body. This is an active training therefore what you learn during the teachings you bring it into practice. Ideally you repeat the same set of exercises at home. Each week we work on a different chakra.
